Departure Home City for Maui
In order to avoid cancellation and/or being denied boarding, please check with your specific carrier regarding check-in times prior to your flight(s), as these vary by airline carrier. Plan to arrive at your home airport at least 90 minutes prior to your scheduled flight (up to three hours prior if yours is not a U.S. domestic flight). Be sure you have your required travel documents, flight itinerary and boarding passes (if you checked in online) ready for presentation upon check-in for your flight. Remember to check your luggage through to Kahului Airport (airport code: OGG).
Arrival and Transfer
Welcome to Maui! Following your arrival at Kahului Airport, please proceed to baggage claim, where you will be met by travel staff holding Sioux Steel signage. The travel staff will assist you with your luggage and arrange for your transfer to the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. The transfer time to the resort is approximately 45 minutes.
Resort and Hospitality Desk Check-In
Once you reach the resort, please check in at the Sioux Steel Hospitality Desk located in the Lahaina Boardroom Promenade for the key cards to your preregistered accommodations. While you are checking in, the resort staff will swipe your credit card to guarantee your incidental expenses, and your luggage will be delivered to your room. Resort check-in time is 4:00 PM. If you arrive early and your guest room is not yet ready, luggage storage is available at the bell desk.
Remainder of Afternoon at Leisure
The balance of the afternoon is yours to unpack, relax or explore your new surroundings. Celebrate your arrival in Hawaii with dinner at your leisure and expense in the Maui restaurant of your choice. Stop by the Sioux Steel Hospitality Desk for restaurant suggestions and assistance in arranging your personal plans.

Join old friends and new acquaintances on the resort grounds for the “Drums of the Pacific” Polynesian Spectacular which takes you on a journey through the islands of Polynesia, complete with a traditional imu ceremony and the exotic flavors of native Hawaiian cuisine, including an all-you-can-eat buffet, a lavish desert bar, and open bar.

Late Flights
You may be required to check out of your room several hours prior to your flight. The Travel Directors have arranged to store your luggage, and changing rooms will be available. You might want to take a final dip in the pool, enjoy the beach or find one last souvenir.
Transfer to the Airport
The Travel Directors will assist with your transfer to the airport for your flight home, and they will be on hand at the airport to help with baggage handling and flight departures. The transfer time is approximately 45 minutes.
Flight Check-In
Please have your electronic ticket confirmation and all required travel documents in hand when you check in for your flight.
Agricultural Inspections
An agricultural inspection will take place at the airport. Taking fresh Hawaiian fruits and flowers on flights to the mainland is prohibited unless packaged with the approval of the agricultural inspectors. Pre-packaged items are usually approved.
Overnight Flight to the Mainland
Because of the time difference, you will arrive back on the mainland the day after you depart Hawaii. If you live on the West Coast, you may arrive home the same day.
